In order to document a large number of roadside items in a short period of time, we called in the professionals. Simply known as RAGS, this squad of highly skilled recovery personelle secretly comb our highways and biways in search of the truth.

They found, photographed and documented hundreds of items, mostly clothing. They even cleaned it, modelled it and donated. Brampton, Ontario was choosen as the project location. Brampton is a densly populated suburb of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and provides wonderfully fertile ground for unexplained clothing spotting.

After 10 months of hard work, Pavement Gear was built and now contains the most detailed findings of any roadside clothing project ever undertaken.
